Cursive 2026.3.0

Nov 4, 2026

Cursive 2026.3.0 is out! It adds support for the new destructuring syntax in Clojure 1.13, adds better support for working with git worktrees (or jj workspaces), and fixes a bunch of bugs, including many from the exception tracker.

Since IntelliJ 2026.2 has been out for a while now, this will be the last version with support for IntelliJ 2025.2 and older releases.

Here are the issues:

Added

  • Destructuring updates: remove :defaults, support :req! #3114
  • Support the Clojure 1.13 selector macro #3111
  • Support :missing and :excess destructuring directives #3110

Changed

  • Use .idea/.name for deps.edn project and module names #3108
  • Update destructuring grammar for Clojure 1.13-alpha4 #3107
  • Make Leiningen error messages clickable #3058

Fixed

  • Standard formatter uses incorrect indentation in namespace clauses #3109
  • Classic formatter incorrectly indents newline-split namespaced maps #3106
  • Generate stubs - Syntax error reading source #3101
  • Static Field access - cursive wrongly highlights method call as "warning" if a static field with the same name exists. #3074
  • UI Freeze when starting REPL on WSL (blocking socketConnect on AWT thread) #3067
  • Test reporting fails over non-string assertion message in clojure.test/is #2962
  • Multiple project-specific REPL commands with same name causes exception #2898
